This site was built using HTML, CSS, Flash AS3, Javascript, and is being hosted on a MAC G4 cube.
To the left you'll find some of the projects I've worked on over the past few years. They consist mostly of branding, web development, and illustrations. I also have traditional art skills such as screen printing and painting.
I am originally from Tok, Alaska, but moved to the Pacific Northwest 14 years ago. In my spare time I dj, collect records and old magazines, and play go. I am a self taught illustrator with a 2-year degree in graphic design from Seattle Central Community College, and I have been working freelance since graduating in 2006.

The Maldives, a Seattle based country music band, has recently started to gain traction with local radio station KEXP and are regulars at Seattle clubs such as The Tractor and Sunset Tavern. They performed at this year's Sasquatch Music Festival held at the Gorge, and are also booked for this year's Bumbershoot festival. The band recently contracted me for a some branding and web site work, which has since led to posters and t-shirts which will emerge in the coming months.

Redbar is a Pacific Northwest apparel startup company that has been working with me for a while. It began with a logo, and recently they have returned from Bali with their belts finished for sale. This of course means a site update and some product shots. Having recently been working with Action Script 3, I choose to do the site update with my new skills. Currently, Redbar is using the original site which I did for them a year ago.

Like organic food? I was hired by a New Roots Organics to bring their web site out of the stone age of 1998, improve their SEO and create a secure sign up page. While working on the site, I also helped educate New Roots about the nature of the web and updating web presence for modern small web businesses.
