24seven Tax & Insurance

Design solution: Business cards are the entry point to who you work with and what you do; in many cases your level of professionalism can be measured by your card's design. I approached this project with that in mind. Having created both logos, I knew the client wanted their cards to be similar even though they served two different types of services. My goal was easy from that point, to make sure at least two of the edges line up and spell everything correctly.

Woodstock 40th Anniversary

Design solution: I had been wanting to do an offset oversize poster for awhile, and when this came into my email box that idea was the first thing that came to mind. After researching what I could and could not do in that format, and since a picture that was full color had been requested, I was forced to try another option, which was a digital printing but still oversized (larger than 11" x 17"). I was happy with this design and poster, but I am still waiting to do just a plain four color design maybe next month.

Dezember Wedding Invitations

Design solution: Colors! Recently I was hired to produce a one of a kind wedding invite for a four day Bavarian themed wedding. The client requested to have the invite in German and English, along with a survival guide for the event. I started by producing all the graphics and color schemes which also included a lengthy debate over color of paper; white or off white. At first my designs did not come off as being close enough to the theme, so I had to rethink some things and represent. After getting the blue and white right everything else came together. They even requested the lion be turned into a stamp, and in the end where very happy with the product.

Redbar-designs Catalog

Design solution: A catalog is handy thing to have when you are looking to promote your small online business. Redbar contacted me requesting to produce a small 15 page catalog/handout that they could direct mail to their clients. Of course I think big photos, lots of color. The client liked that idea so much they chose to leave out any text at all, with just the price and a url on the back of each page. It was effective, maybe, but it took all the fun out setting the type!
